| Information on St Just in Roseland |
| |
Mainland's most westerly town, next to Cape Cornwall (NT). Iron Age village of Carn Euny, Geevor mining heritage centre at Pendeen, Levant Beam Engine (NT), Crown engine houses at Botallack, Pendeen lighthouse. Flights to Isles of Scilly and pleasure flights from Land's End aerodrome at St Just. There is no doubt that this little hamlet in Roseland is a place of charm, of peace and tranquillity and of warmth. In the height of summer, of course it can become quite busy for such a small place, but most of the activity takes place on the shoreline where there are tidal beaches and anchorage for boats. Wandering along the coast toward St. Mawes or around the creek and churchyard, though, is highly recommended. | |||
