Stanbury Mouth Beach

Stanbury Mouth is a quiet, secluded beach, with pebbles at the high tide mark, and rocky out crops with rock pools, and sand as the tide recedes. To get to the beach there is a good 10 to 15 minute walk from the closest parking area.

The beach is popular with experienced local surfers, but is usually quiet or empty, and is ideal if you want to have a quite day at the beach. Swimming can be dangerous both at low and turning tide, and is best avoided.

Welcombe Mouth Beach, unfortunately does not have lifeguard cover during the year, so you have to take extra precaution if swimming here. Please be sure to observe the beach safety code.
