Perranporth Beach  



Perranporth Beach is a stretch of really golden sand, and over 2 miles in length, with an extensive sand dunes. Perranporth is well recognised for the excellent swimming and surfing, with huge surf, as well as a great place for snorkelling, sailing.


At low tide Perranporth beach joins its neighbouring beach Penhale Sands, this form one of the largest stretches of unbroken sand on the North Coast. At one end is Perranporth, a lovely seaside town with all the facilities and features you expect, with easily access to the beach itself. Walking along the beach towards Penhale Point you will come across the Special Area of Conservation which covers the extensive network of sand dunes behind the beach.


Perranporth beach has lifeguards during the summer months that patrol each and everyday, from morning till dusk, so you can feel very safe if you fancy a swim. Please be sure to observe the flags, and the beach safety code.
