Lusty Glaze

Lusty Glaze Beach, which is privately owned, is one of four beaches in Newquay that combine to form a glorious mile-long or so stretch of sand. The others beaches being Great Western, Tolcarne Beach and Towan Beach. Sheltered by tall cliffs, Lusty Glaze is one of Cornwall’s finest family beaches, an amazing setting which provides a safe, family-friendly environment, with superb facilities at the beach. Facilities include a café, crèche, shop, restaurant, bar, toilets and watersports hire. Beach huts are also available to hire.

Throughout the year Lusty Glaze transforms the beach into a concert venue for its Headline sessions, each year during the summer months music lovers flock to the sand to experience live music* in one of the most breath-taking venues in the UK. For more information visit the Lusty Glaze website.

Lusty Glaze beach is home to the National Lifeguard Training Centre and has lifeguards during the summer months that patrol each and everyday, from morning till dusk, so you can feel very safe if you fancy a swim. Please be sure to observe the flags, and the beach safety code.
