Holywell Bay  



Holywell Bay beach is located just west of Newquay, and offers a large and open sandy beach. This beach is a popular with surfers and swimmers alike. At low tide the beach stretches almost a mile long, and with the exposure to the Atlantic, the swell is liked by both surfers and body boarders.


At low tide children can paddle in rock pools on the beach at the bottom of the cliffs. At high tide as the beach disappears, there is  a large expanse of sand dunes that provide another option to Holywell Bay.


Holywell Bay beach has lifeguards during the summer months that patrol each and everyday, from morning till dusk, so you can feel very safe if you fancy a swim. Please be sure to observe the flags, and the beach safety code.
