Harlyn Bay Beach

Harlyn Bay is considered one of the best family beaches in Cornwall, a wide and spacious crescent shaped bay of yellow sand and pebbles with plenty of interesting rock pools and backed by dunes. Harlyn Bay is regarded as one of the safer beaches in the county, this makes this beach very popular with holiday goers.

Harlyn Bay is a haven for water sports, surfers both experienced and novice, who can learn to master the waves with surf schools who run sessions from the beach, enjoy waves from low through to high tide providing rights off a rock at the east end of the beach. The horseshoe shaped bay also produces an unbeatable location to have a go at sea kayaking.

Newtrain Bay has lifeguards during the summer months that patrol each and everyday, from morning till dusk, so you can feel very safe if you fancy a swim. Please be sure to observe the flags, and the beach safety code.
