Fishing Cove Beach

Fishing Cove is a small secret, fairly sheltered, hidden beach, sometimes known as Fisherman’s Cove, this sandy beach nestles below 250ft cliffs. This beach is also well known as a naturalist beach.

Access to the beach is not to difficult, but there are high drops on the seaward side of the path.

Immediately adjacent to Fishing Cove is Castle Giver Cove and is only accessed at low water from Fishing Cove. Castle Giver can be quite stony but can have a strip of sand above high water level. Please beware of the tides as there is only one access off these beaches, and that is at Fishing Cove.

Fishing Cove unfortunately does not have lifeguard cover during the year, so you have to take extra precaution if swimming here. Please be sure to observe the beach safety code.
