This National Trust beach is situated between steep cliffs and wooded valleys, with the amazing Steeple Point to the right of the beach. We strongly recommend you take your camera.

 

Duckpool is one of the most dramatic and attractive coves in the whole North coast area. You approach Duckpool beach along a country lane via the tranquil woodland of the Coombe Valley.

 

Duckpool, unfortunately does not have lifeguard cover during the year, so you have to take extra precaution if swimming here. Please be sure to observe the beach safety code.

 

This area is often frequented by local surfers, as the wave formations can give a good surfing experience, though we would like to say this beach is not good for the novice.
