Daymer Bay Beach

Daymer Bay is a stunning beach that at low tide forms a long stretch of golden sand backed by dunes from Daymer Bay all the way to Rock with superb views across Camel Estuary.

The beach is a popular holiday destination for families. The fine level sand is a firm favourite that attracts many people during the holiday season. The beach has a few rock pools to explore to the northern edge. When to tide is low it is possible to walk along sand down to Rock, where they can take the passenger ferry across the river into Padstow.

A good size car park is adjacent to the beach where you will also find a beach cafe and shop as well as toilets. Access to the beach is via a small set of steps from the car park.

Access: Short walk and set of steps from the car park overlooking the beach

Daymer Bay Beach, unfortunately does not have lifeguard cover during the year, so you have to take extra precaution if swimming here. Please be sure to observe the beach safety code.
