Constantine Bay

Constantine Bay beach has a great reputation as one of the best surfing beaches in Cornwall producing top quality waves. There is a reef at the southern end of the bay that can produces lefts running into the bay depending on swell size.

The beach itself is a beautiful stretch of sand and is about a third of a mile in length. At low tide there is a large expanse of sand and rocks forming a sweeping arc of gently shelving soft pale sands, and joins its neighbour beach, Booby's Bay. The beach also has numerous rock pools to explore. At high tide a wide strip of soft sand is still uncovered at the base of the large sand dunes, and the only way to access Booby's Bay is from the above footpath.

Constantine Bay has lifeguards during the summer months that patrol each and everyday, from morning till dusk, so you can feel very safe if you fancy a swim. Please be sure to observe the flags, and the beach safety code.
